I'm planning on going to Supanova in Perth this coming June, and I also plan going in full cosplay. JOY!

After much consideration into what to go as, i came up with 'Stocking' from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.
I did some research and she's pretty popular in the cosplay world, which is a good thing, because finding props, costumes and accessories is easy! Expensive....but available.

After surfing Amazon, eBay and most cosplay websites i discovered that i can purchase the whole outfit for about $115 (including postage). Also, adding on top of that cost, is the wig for an extra $48 (including postage). I can use my own shoes and i can make my own 'Strips' sword prop. But as it plays out: who has a spare $163 for a costume?!

So my next bright idea is to make my own costume. See my lovely sketch design here: [link]
Because, as i mentioned above, this cosplay is so popular there are even tutorials online to make her costume! joy!
I already have a sewing machine and i feel confident enough that i can pull this off - very, very slowly but i can do it!
So all that is left for me to do is to research the costs involved in making this myself. Surely fabric can't be THAT expensive....right? But, i still need to buy the wig. So i can't really save money there...but it's worth it :)

Anyway, i will post updates as i follow alone. If anyone has any tips or advise for making costumes PLEASE feel free to drop me a line! this isn't my first cosplay but all tips/advise is welcome!

Thanks ♥
